Why is my newly painted wall blistering?

Blistering can be caused by moisture ingress, trapped solvent, painting a damp surface, contamination or loss of adhesion. Find and correct the moisture or contamination source first; then remove failed paint, allow the wall to dry, prime as required and recoat.
