Why has my roof colour faded or changed?

Roof colours are exposed to intense sunlight and weathering. UV radiation can gradually alter less light-fast pigments, while chalking can make a surface look lighter even when the pigment colour underneath remains. Clean the surface first to determine whether the problem is chalking, dirt or true fading.
