Why does sprayed paint have orange peel?

Orange peel is usually caused by poor atomisation or flow. Possible causes include incorrect viscosity, wrong thinner, excessive spray distance, incorrect pressure, unsuitable nozzle setup or solvent evaporation that is too fast. Correct the spray setup and use the compatible thinner.
