Why are tiny pinholes forming in a sprayed metal coating?

Pinholes can form when trapped air or solvent escapes through a coating as it dries. Excessive film thickness, porous contamination, incorrect thinner, fast evaporation, foaming or poor spray technique can contribute. Correct the spray setup, film build and solvent system before recoating.
