Why are there hairs, fibres or dust particles in my paint finish?

Foreign particles can come from worn brushes or rollers, dusty surroundings, skin or debris in the container, or contamination during application. Allow the paint to dry, remove or sand out the particles, clean the area and equipment, strain the coating where appropriate, and recoat in a cleaner environment.
