Why are brush marks or roller lines not levelling out?

Poor flow and levelling can be caused by the wrong brush or roller, applying the coating too heavily, overworking partially dried paint, unsuitable thinning, or very fast drying conditions. Allow the coating to dry, sand the uneven surface if required, and reapply using the recommended tools, film thickness and conditions.
