What causes dry spray or overspray?

Dry spray occurs when droplets partly dry before reaching or flowing into the surface. Excessive gun distance, high air pressure, fast solvent evaporation, hot conditions or poor gun technique are common causes. Adjust the gun, distance, pressure and compatible thinner system.
