Yes, but only if the old coating is sound, firmly attached and compatible. Wash the roof, remove chalking, loose paint, rust and contamination, sand or prepare glossy areas where required, and repair failed sections before recoating. If the old coating is peeling or unknown, test adhesion and compatibility first.
