Dry Spray

A rough, powdery spray finish caused when droplets lose too much solvent or water before reaching the surface. It is often associated with excessive spray distance, high temperature, fast solvent or poor gun setup. Diagnosis should focus on the root cause rather than simply recoating the visible defect.
