Cross-Cut Adhesion

A coating adhesion test in which a lattice pattern is cut through the film and the coating's retention is assessed. It is widely used for comparative quality control and substrate-adhesion checks. The method, temperature, film thickness and conditioning should be recorded so results are comparable.
