Air Dry

A drying process that occurs under normal ambient conditions without forced heat. Air-dry coatings may dry by solvent evaporation, oxidation, coalescence or a combination of mechanisms. Drying and cure must be judged using the coating's specified time, temperature and film-thickness conditions.
