Zinc Phosphate
An inhibitive anti-corrosive pigment widely used in primers for steel and other metals.
Zinc phosphate is an inhibitive anti-corrosive pigment widely used in primers and protective coatings for steel and other ferrous metals. It helps reduce corrosion by promoting the formation of a protective phosphate layer at the metal surface. Zinc phosphate is commonly used in alkyd, epoxy, acrylic and other anti-corrosive primer systems as a safer alternative to older chromate-based corrosion inhibitors.
