Solvent Popping

Small craters or pinholes caused when trapped solvent escapes from a film that has begun to skin or cure. It is often linked to excessive film build, fast surface drying or insufficient flash-off. Diagnosis should focus on the root cause rather than simply recoating the visible defect.
