Long-Oil Alkyd

An alkyd resin with a relatively high proportion of oil or fatty acid modification. Long-oil alkyds are typically flexible and brush-friendly and are widely used in conventional enamels. Binder selection should always be matched to the substrate, exposure and required service life.
